1. Prepare Ingredients:
 • 1 tablespoon olive oil
 • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
 • 3 cloves garlic, minced
 • 1 cup coconut cream
 • 2 tablespoons white miso paste
 • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
 • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
 • Salt and pepper to taste
 • 12 ounces pasta of your choice
 • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)
 2. Cook Pasta: Cook 12 ounces of pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
 3. Sauté Onion and Garlic: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the finely chopped onion and cook until it becomes translucent, about 5 minutes. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
 4. Make the Sauce: Add 1 cup of coconut cream, 2 tablespoons of white miso paste, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons of tomato paste to the skillet. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
 5. Season and Simmer: Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and the flavors meld together.
 6. Combine with Pasta: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss well to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.
 7. Serve: Divide the pasta among serving plates. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.
