Ingredients:
  •  2 oz whiskey (bourbon or rye)
  • 3/4 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 oz maple syrup or simple syrup
  • 1/2 oz aquafaba (chickpea brine, for frothy texture)
  • Ice
  • Lemon wheel and cherry for garnish


Quick Instructions:
1. Shake without ice: In a cocktail shaker, combine whiskey, lemon juice, syrup, and aquafaba. Dry shake (without ice) for 15 seconds.
2. Shake with ice: Add ice and shake again for another 15 seconds.
3. Strain & serve: Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
4. Garnish & enjoy: Top with a lemon wheel and a cherry.


Full Instructions:
1. Prepare ingredients: Measure and pour whiskey, fresh lemon juice, maple syrup (or simple syrup), and aquafaba into a cocktail shaker.
2. Dry shake: Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds without ice. This helps the aquafaba create a smooth, foamy texture.
3. Add ice & shake again: Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake again for another 15 seconds to chill the drink.
4. Strain & serve: Use a cocktail strainer to pour the drink into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
5. Garnish: Place a lemon wheel on top and optionally add a cherry for a classic look.
